This course is narrowly written and approved for Tall Ships America members, who have access to an approved ship with a rescue boat. Several Tall Ships America member vessels are currently approved including Corwith Cramer, Robert C. Seamans, Oliver Hazard Perry, Mystic Whaler, Adventuress, Lettie Howard, and Manitou etc. Other Tall Ship sailors are welcome to take the course but should check in with the instructor chris@practicalnavigator.org first to arrange the assessments and get the ship approved through the Coast Guard....it takes time.
