Assistance Towing Endorsement for U.S. Coast Guard Licenses (Online)
Add a towing endorsement to your merchant mariner license!
This course is designed for those seeking to add an assistance towing endorsement to their OUPV or 100/200 ton license. No additional sea-time is required. For this course, you have three testing options:
1. If you are taking this course as part of a regularly scheduled 100/200 ton course with Practical Navigator Training, nothing else is required as you will test in the classroom.
2. If you are planning to test at the Regional Exam Center on your own, you may enroll in the course anytime. There is a testing fee at the Regional Exam Center.
3. If you are taking this course completely online, contact the instructor at [email protected] to schedule a test at one of our testing partners. There is an additional testing fee in this situation.
Christopher D. Nolan is a former US Coast Guard cutterman. Chris has over 14 years of sea time, with 10 years in command. He holds a 1600-ton USCG merchant mariner license upon ocean routes, having served on the following vessels:
